The Nickel Coin Mares’ Standard Open NH Flat Race in Great Britain is a Grade 2 National Hunt flat race open to fillies and mares aged four to six years. It is run over a distance of around 2 miles and 1 furlong (2 miles and 209 yards, or 3,410 meters) at Aintree each year during the Grand National meeting in early April.
The race is named after Nickel Coin, the 1951 Grand National winner and the only recent mare to do so. The race was initially conducted as a Listed event in 2005 before being elevated to Grade 2 level in 2016.
